Safety Certificates Roadworthy Inspections

Safety Certificates - Passenger vehicles, Light Commercial and Trailers only.

COI - Certificate of Inspection - Commercial Vehicles up to 4.5t, Heavy Vehicles up to 16t GVM, Trailer/Semi Trailer over 3.5t and Buses up to and including 4t.

Mobile Maintenance Service in Severnlea is a QLD licensed, Approved Inspection Station and can issue Safety Certificates (formerly roadworthy certificates or RWC) for vehicles that pass the roadworthy assessment test.

You will need a Safety Certificate when a vehicle changes ownership, an interstate vehicle is being registered in Queensland or an unregistered vehicle is being registered for road use.

We offer roadworthy inspections for Passenger vehicles, Light Commercial and Trailers only.

Mobile Maintenance Service also offer inspections (COI - Certificate of Inspection) for Commercial Vehicles up to 4.5t, Heavy Vehicles up to 16t GVM, Trailer/Semi Trailer over 3.5t and Buses up to and including 4t. These are required to be continuously current except were exempt.

A roadworthy inspection includes checking:

  • Tyres
  • Brakes
  • Suspension
  • Steering
  • Body damage or rust
  • Lights
  • Windscreen
