In 1996, after gaining experience by working in the automotive industry since age 14, after school, on weekends and holidays, Vito Grasso started his own car service as the head mechanic of Mobile Maintenance Service in Severnlea. From his humble beginnings, he set up as a mobile car service, Mobile Maintenance Service performed auto repairs and maintenance on site, in the convenience of client homes or at customers business locations - including various vegetable farms in Severnlea and surrounding suburbs like Stanthorpe, Applethorpe, The Summit, Glen Aplin, Ballandean, Broadwater and nearby regions.

With a big tool box mounted on the back, the Mobile Maintenance Service vehicle soon gained local motorist trust. As the word spread of Vito's mechanical knowledge and repair and maintenance expertise, the demand for car servicing grew, leading to a need for a permanent workshop, and in 2003 Mobile Maintenance Service established a well equipped car service centre in spacious premises in Severnlea.

Over the next 10 years, the workshop expanded and become well equipped for servicing and repairing all makes and models of motor vehicles, light commercials, trailers, caravans and more. Boosted by the employment of another fully qualified and experienced mechanic in 2012, the continuous professional auto repair service by Mobile Maintenance Service met the criteria to join the Repco Authorised Service network in 2013. With constant improvements in the car service options and professionalism in servicing quality, Mobile Maintenance Service continues to grow along with demand and client base. Now Mobile Maintenance Service no longer offer a mobile service as we have invested heavily in our well equipped workshop and can provide a far superior service with all our diagnostic and repair tools close at hand. However, if you find that your car won't start or has broken down, we can arrange (at your cost) a Tilt-tray truck to recover your vehicle and bring it to our workshop.
