What happens if I miss a Service?

If you miss a a service, we would recommend having the service completed as soon as possible. Regular servicing is important as there are many parts, components and fluids that deteriorate with time and require checks to ensure your vehicle is safe and to prevent any major costly breakdowns.

Will I lose my New Car Warranty if I don't go back to the dealer?

Mobile Maintenance Service is fully qualified to carry out log book servicing on your new car, using quality parts and lubricants. There is no requirement under the Australian Consumer Law for a vehicle to be serviced by an authorised dealer in order for the consumer guarantees and manufacturer’s warranty to apply, provided the service is in accordance with the specified requirements by a qualified mechanic or service centre. I have lost my Log Book, do I need it?

If you lose your log book, be sure to keep all records of any servicing and maintenance performed on your vehicle.

Do you provide Digital reports for the work you have done? or of what's wrong with my car?

Yes, your invoice will detail any service and/or repairs carried out with an itemised list of parts and materials used and your invoice will have notes highlighting any repairs that need immediate attention and also what is required at your next service.

How long will the service take?

Depending on the vehicle, a regular service can take anywhere from 1.25hrs to 2.5hrs. When you book in, we can give you more information.

How much will my service cost?

We suggest giving us a call or sending an enquiry via the Book Now Button on this page and advising us of the details of your vehicle, odometer reading and what is required as stated in the log book. Then we can provide you with a quote, prior to making your booking.

How can I pay for my Service?

Cash or Eftpos are our preferred payment methods.

When are you Open?

Mobile Maintenance Service Severnlea workshop is OPEN Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm. We are not open on weekends.

Can I drop off my car or collect my car after hours?

We don't offer after hours service, all vehicle drop offs and pick ups must be during our business hours Mon - Fri 8am-5pm.

What happens if something is not right after my car service?

If something does not seem right after your service, please call us immediately and arrange to have it checked. We take pride in our work and in our customer service and will do whatever is required to have the issue resolved. Plus you have the added assurance of our REPCO Nationwide Warranty if you find yourself out of town.

Will you give me reminders when my next sercive is due?

Your next service date is written on the service sticker on your windscreen.

Can my car be serviced at the same time it is repaired?

Yes we can always service your vehicle when it is in our workshop for other reasons like repairs. Please let us know at time of booking so we can allocate extra time for the work.

How do I book in a Service?

Our preferred booking method is to give us a call. Then one of our experienced technicians can quickly evaluate what type of service you need. If you can't call us then feel free to use the Book Now button on this page to send us a message. Our team will then call you to discuss your needs.

How often should I really service my car?

Your vehicle should be serviced every 6 months, regardless of the kilometres driven as many parts, components and fluids will deteriorate over time and require checking.

Can you fix other things while my car is being serviced?

If there is a safety issue found while we are servicing your vehicle, we will call and advise you of it. Then with your approval, we will carry out the repair. For any other repairs required, we will ask you to make another booking.

Can you wash my car?

We will wash under the engine bay if required, but as we rely on rainwater only, we do not offer that service.

What type of oils and parts do you use?

We use only Penrite Oil and good quality parts for all servicing and repairs.

Do you check my brakes during a service?

Yes, at Mobile Maintenance Service every service we undertake involves changing the engine oil and oil filter, checking and replacing air, cabin and fuel filters if required, checking brakes, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, lights and wiper blades, checking the underbody and tyres.
